Top 5 things about NAD+ that people get wrong

Let's clear up the most common misconceptions.

NAD+ is starting to become a mainstream word that we hear all over social media nowadays. Knowing the truth about what it is and isn’t is more important than ever.

Let's clear up the most common misconceptions.

1. "NAD+ is just for energy"

Yes, NAD+ helps with cellular energy, but that's only part of the story.

NAD+ is crucial for DNA repair, activating sirtuins (longevity proteins), and maintaining healthy cellular function as you age.

Energy is just the most noticeable benefit because that's what you feel first.

2. "All NAD+ boosters work the same way"

This isn't true at all.

NMN converts directly into NAD+, while NR has to convert into NMN first, then into NAD+.

Some people respond better to one than the other, which is why we offer both Pure NMN and Pure NR.

3. "You can get enough NAD+ from food"

Unfortunately, no.

While foods like broccoli and fish contain small amounts of NAD+ precursors, you'd need to eat unrealistic quantities to make a meaningful difference.

As you age, your body's natural NAD+ production drops significantly.

Food alone can't compensate for this decline.

4. "Higher doses are always better"

Not necessarily.

Your body can only process so much at once.

Taking massive doses doesn't mean you'll get massive results.

The key is consistent daily intake at the correct dose for your body, not mega-dosing.

If you haven’t taken an NAD+ test kit yet, finding out exactly how much NMN or NR you should be taking could be worth it.

5. "NAD+ supplements are all the same quality"

This is where things get really concerning.

Recent testing showed that 89% of NAD+ boosters don't contain what they claim on the label.

Many companies use cheap, impure ingredients with fake third-party testing certificates.

The truth:

NAD+ is crucial for healthy ageing, but there's a lot of misinformation out there.

If you're going to boost your NAD+ levels, ensure you're using verified & pure ingredients.
