Human Clinical Trial Update - Spermidine

4 Feb 2024

Effects on improving cardiovascular function.

We want to update you on another clinical trial underway.

As you will know, DoNotAge is a health research organisation.

They put a large amount of our profits back into clinical research on anti-ageing ingredients.

This one is also a human trial being conducted at Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark.

The team there are conducting a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial to investigate the effects of DoNotAge’s Pure Spermidine vs. a matching placebo (1:1 ratio) in elderly patients with cardiovascular disease.

This trial started in October 2023.

Previous studies on mice have shown that spermidine has beneficial effects on health and lifespan by involving autophagy induction, and that these effects are the result of improved cardiovascular function.

However, there is limited data on this in humans. The team in Denmark are including over 200 patients in their trial and will keep the patients on the Pure Spermidine / placebo for a full year to give them a good data set to work with.

We will update you with further results when we have them.

Your support in purchasing DoNotAge supplements allows us to support these clinical trials, which will then help us all find more answers in the quest for a longer, healthier life.
