ARDD 2025 Conference in Copenhagen
DoNotAge just returned from the ARDD 2025 Conference in Copenhagen.
Fantastic week of learning from people on the cutting edge of longevity science.
DoNotAge.org was proud to both sponsor and be actively involved in the event. Their founder, Alan Graves, awarded Travel Grants to PhD students
and our Lead Researcher Dr Vera Gorbunova delivered a talk.
Here are 3 key takeaways from the most biggest longevity event this year.
1: The Answer To Reversing Human Ageing Is Out There
(but funding is a problem.)
The conference featured 150+ speakers from the world's leading experts,
including 2 Nobel Prize winners.
Beyond this, there were hundreds of longevity experts in attendance.
It's clear from the topics discussed that we should be seeing huge breakthroughs
in the space in the coming years.
However, the funding situation for scientific research is increasingly dire.
Funding for new science is lower than ever,
meaning many promising theories will not be realised.
While DoNotAge.org and other Health Research Organisations
are working to fund as much new research as possible,
we are still a relatively small part of the overall picture.
Meanwhile, supplement companies spend over $100 billion
on advertising per year - imagine if this was spent on research instead?
2: Proud To Support The Future Of Research
DoNotAge were proud to award Travel Grants to the brightest up-and-coming PhD students,
allowing them to complete their studies in the locations that best suit their areas of research.
These people are the researchers of tomorrow and we can't wait to see what they accomplish!
3: They were the Only Longevity Ingredient Company There!
This was the biggest longevity conference of the year with a star-studded speaking list discussing topics that will impact how we think about treating ageing for years to come.
Yet - of all the companies that claim to care about longevity science
DoNotAge were the only ones who showed up!
We found this revealing!
