Does this one thing help you live longer?

Fasting - does it help increase our lifespan?

It’s become mainstream to do intermittent fasting, but does it help increase our healthy lifespan?

Research conducted by the National Institutes of Health found that mice who fasted daily experienced improved health and extended lifespans.

Another study by neuroscientists at UT Southwestern Medical Center showed that mice that only ate during restricted periods lived nearly 35% longer than those with unrestricted eating schedules.

But why is this?

Fasting activates a process called autophagy, where old and damaged cells are removed from your body, helping clear out any unnecessary gunk in your system.

This is most commonly done with the 16:8 intermittent fasting method, in which you restrict your eating to an 8-hour window and fast the other 16 hours of the day.

Intermittent fasting has been shown to help with cognitive function throughout the day and help people regulate their weight.

However, it's important to note that most of the data around humans and fasting is based on individuals' personal experiences, and it’s different for everyone.

If you haven't done intermittent fasting before, it's worth trying if you are healthy and not facing any major health issues.

Try it for 3 days and see how your body reacts.

For some people, it's not their thing, and for others, they do it daily.

And, if you’d prefer to take a supplement that activates autophagy and will get you similar results without having to fast, you can take Pure Spermidine.
