Can Exercise Reverse Your Age?

Research would suggest it can!

It goes without saying that exercise is good for your health,

but can it actually reverse your biological age?

Research has shown that regular exercise (as little as 30 minutes of brisk walking per day)

slows or reverses many of the major side-effects of ageing.

You might not be surprised that exercise helps heart health and muscle mass,

but researchers have also observed improvements in less obvious areas including

bone density, memory, and intestinal health!

What's more - temporarily cutting out exercise was shown to have lasting negative effects

on peoples' biological age markers.

Quick Stat - Exercise Like Your Life Depends on It

A July 2012 paper found that regular physical activity decreased risk of mortality by 30-35%.

To put it another way: regular exercise can increase your life expectancy by up to 6.9 years.

Something To Try

If you aren't currently physically active, commit to 30 minutes of physical activity

this can be as simple as a brisk walk - every day for a week.
